Gallery at the Old Post Office Announces Exhibits

This article is updated regularly to reflect new exhibits.

Hanover’s Gallery at the Old Post Office has announced its upcoming exhibit schedule. Details are noted below, but all dates, times, and themes are subject to change.

Each call for submissions will be announced on the Gallery’s Facebook page and via its email list. (To be added to the list, email Andy Smith. Previous artist participants are automatically included.) Deadlines for submitting art tag information (title, medium, dimensions, price, etc.) are typically approximately three weeks before the listed opening date. Exact deadlines will be noted in the art call.

The tenants of the building determine the regular open hours, but Monday through Thursday, 9:00 until 5:00, are typically open for viewing.

2027 Exhibit Themes

The Gallery at the Old Post Office is pleased to share its 2027 themes. Artists are encouraged to consider these themes as prompts while developing their works. Exact dates will be shared later, but this is the assumed order of the exhibits.

Unless otherwise noted, artists may share one or two artworks on the theme.

Here we go!

Open Exhibit — One work per artist on any theme, but accompanied by descriptive text about the artwork from the artist. (Two paragraphs to one page in length. More later!) An artist bio will also be included. Only 20 submissions will be accepted. Art will be displayed on one wall panel or display rack per piece. (Early January 2027.)
