Come Alive

See this content in the original post

I want to sing a song into your bones
Until they hum in harmony with the roots of the mountains.
I want to breathe fire into your blood
Until it is molten potential like the iron in the forge.
I want to dance your feet into a frenzy
Of ecstatic revelation.

I want you to remember
That you are earth and sky.
That your face has never been seen before
In the turn of all the ages.
That every flower and blade of grass
Leans toward you like the small sun that you are.

I want every mirror you pass to carry the enchantment of truth
So you can see your real face.
I want you to feel yourself perched upon the cresting wave of all that has been
And how it bears you forth with the power of a thousand draft horses.

I want you to come alive here
Now
On this darkening Earth
So we can sing up the sun.
